About The Teachers

Ed Scheterlak
is the founder of the Bozeman Yoga Center, has been teaching since 1995. He completed teacher training for beginner and intermediate Iyengar students with Richard Schachtel at the
Center for Yoga of Seattle and also has studied with many of the best Iyengar, Anusara, Astanga and Vini teachers in the U.S. Ed is a registered Yoga Alliance Yoga Teacher (RYT 500) a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT). His special interest is in using yoga  therapeutically to help people heal from pain and injury. He also spent 10 years as an A.C.E certified Personal Fitness Trainer, working primarily on functional fitness - the strength and flexibility you need in your daily life not just your appearance.


Cache Hartzell, RYT
Since 1986 Cache has been nationally certified in Jin Shin Do Acupressure and is certified by the AOBTA(American Organization for Bodywork Therapies of Asia), registered IAYT (International Association of Yoga Therapist); Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance, RYT; Registered Kripalu Yoga Teacher, KYT; and has studied with many of the leading masters in Contemplative Psychology.
Cache is currently enrolled in the 500 hour advanced Teacher Training at Kripalu Center for Health and Yoga.
Cache offers Private sessions utilizing Experiential Bodymind Therapy, which encompasses:

Gloria (Ravi Inder Kaur) Overcash
is continually inspired by the transformation Kundalini Yoga brings to the body, mind, and soul. She strives to compassionately uplift and serve while delivering an experience that helps one align with his/her authentic self. She enjoys sharing yogic techniques to help one navigate through life with strength, peace, and grace. Although her primary passion is working with pregnant women, she loves to teach all who desire to practice the yoga of awareness. She has trained in the Aquarian Teacher Training Program, the Khalsa Way Pregnancy Yoga Program, and the Radiant Child Yoga Program. Her spiritual name, Ravi Inder Kaur, means “pure divine princess who shines like the sun and has the light of God in her eyes”. Jeanne (Rajdev Kaur) Allgood
has been practicing Kundalini Yoga for more than 10 years. She is a YA registered/IKYTA certified instructor. Rajdev, whose spiritual name means “the angelic consciousness of a lioness who walks with grace,” believes that Kundalini yoga is an integral tool for remaining grounded and graceful through the journey of this lifetime. It is a technology that gives us an incredible opportunity to experience peace and joy amidst the chaos of everyday living. The union we experience in yoga is a gift for the healing of the planet and for finding harmony within our human existence. She is deeply honored and blessed to share this ancient wisdom. Alakhi (HarSimranJeet Kaur) McLain
fell in love with Kundalini Yoga after practicing a kriya that deeply touched her soul and filled her heart with joy. A regular practice has increased her well-being and changed her life in a myriad of positive ways. She is delighted to share the sweetness of this powerful yogic technology. She is also a birth doula, serving women as they transition into motherhood. She teaches at Bozeman Yoga Center.

Guthrie Meeker an IKTYA certified instructor, teaches through the Adult Education Program, Be The Change Yoga, and Bozeman Yoga Center. He has been practicing Yoga for four years,  discovering Kundalini Yoga in the summer of 2009. Believing in the Yogic path as a way to open oneself to a new and greater personal and interpersonal experience, he is excited and privileged to be a part of this community. Sat Nam.



Jorid Halsnes -started participating in yoga as a freshman in high school because of chronic pain from sciatic nerve problems. Her passion for yoga grew once she became more rooted with the spiritual essence of yoga as well as pranayama. She wanted to share this with others which is why she became certified to teach. She was certified in Los Angeles through Atma Yoga teacher training located in the wonderful Hare Krishna community. She is a young yogini with expanding knowledge of the hatha yoga practice. Teaching at Montana State University's fitness center and the Bozeman Yoga Center has tremendously broadened her knowledge of practicing yoga. She is currently attending Montana State University in the Exercise Science program in hopes of becoming a successful Physical Therapist. Jai!
